Uula and I took a Suzuki SJ410 on sea ice. The ice held, which was better than tires did. I managed to spin the car 180 degrees on a straight. Saved my day!
20 to 30 centimeters. I learned later that it was probably a stupid
thing to do since there is a strong current and the sea level has been
fluctuaiting recently. Next time we'll place a 2 by 4 through the side
windows so that if the car happens to sink through, it will keep it
from going totally under.
